His PoetryA few days a friend sent me this.Ephesians 2:10 TPT“We have become His poetry, a re-created people that will fulfil the destiny He has given each of us, for we are joined to Jesus, the Anointed One. Even before we were born, God planned in advance our destiny and the good works we would do to fulfil it.”Then the friend said, “It just struck me how you were His “poetry” literally.” My response is below.
I’d love to be Your Poem Lord,
I’d love to be Your Poem Lord, set out with lines so trueThat tells of Your Great Glory and shows those around Your ViewRhythmic Words with beat and flow that are forever clearA poem that does display why You do hold us dear
I’d love to be Your Poem Lord that glorifies Your Name That tells us of the reason that to this earth You cameThat on the Cross You died that all the world be saved That the sin of every man will be forever waved I’d love to be Your Poem Lord that demonstrates Your LoveThe Love of The Father, the Son and Holy Dove.That tells of Your Creation and all that You have planned.And tells of why You Love us, so we can understand.
I’d love to be Your Poem Lord, that is a way to shareThat all the world can see, and tells everyone You Care To be a good example of how much You Love us soThat I can be a channel, through me Your Love can flow.
