We thank You Lord that You’re in control

You’re taking over and we’ll make our goal
You are doing the work behind the scenes.
You’re in control is what it means.
We thank You Lord that You’re in control
You’ve taken back what the enemy stole.
We must agree with Your Heavenly Word
And speak Your truth and make it heard.
We thank You Lord that You’re in control
By Your Spirit we’ve been made whole
This truth we say, we do declare
We belong to You, we are Your heir.
We thank You Lord that You’re in control
It’s in Your Word, it’s in the scroll.
The final word belongs to You
You’re in control, now that is true.
We thank You Lord that You’re in control
But in it all we have a role
To make this final verbal decree
You are my Lord, my family and me.
