Don’t despise the Little Things

We thank You for the little things You give to us each day

The little things just appear before we even pray.

Yet blessed by the abundance of Your Love, dear Lord

These little things, they soon increase to a size overboard.

And increased still again by the richness of Your Grace

Those little things, we note, now grow at a greater pace.

So the things that were so small are now a mighty size

Show that Your Love and Grace give the increase as the prize.

We don’t despise the little things that appear before we even pray

They’re the seeds that grow and grow, we won’t send them away.

But bring them to the refreshing Love and to the power of Grace

We watch in awe as they increase and Your Presence we embrace.
